  • We have worked with the team in Urban Gym since they opened the doors of their flagship facility in New Ross, Co. Wexford. During this time we have created their Branding, Website, Wall Murals, Social Media Videos, Internal Displays and even carried out an Augmented Reality project within the facility.

Having stood in, what at the time was an empty warehouse and listened to exactly where Andy and Marina wanted to position this brand within the community of New Ross, Co. Wexford. It became very apparent that community needed to feature prominently within this brand mark. We got to work on the creative process and after some back and fourth with the Urban Gym team the UR mark began to make a lot of sense. They wanted to offer this facility and more importantly Andy’s passion and skill for life improvement to the community… so we began creating a mark to showcases this offering: UR Gym, UR Lifestyle, UR Health, UR Community etc.

We created a visual brand language for the team in Urban Gym that really sets them apart from all other facilities in their area, which was the brief. They set out to offer a service that wasn’t available in their area and we built them a visual language to match this ambition.

Having created the brand language for this facility it then came time to implement this on the ground. Our creative director Paul Byrne is an accomplished Street Artist, so the pairing of brand language and physical space was a match made in heaven here.

We designed, produced and fitted the branding and typographic piece in this PT section of the gym. The message we agreed on is one we hold true to our own client experiences also, so it was a pleasure to work on this project.

As the team in Urban Gym extended the facility to meet the demand of an ever growing client base, we were commissioned to paint the third instalment of the gyms feature wall. On this occasion however we pitched embedding this section of the wall with Augmented Reality. Click on the image below to see the result :)

The Urban Gym Website hosts all of the this brands offerings in one seamless experience. Greeting each user with ‘Our Happy Place’ in large type on the landing banner sets the tonne for what this brand offers and what a user can expect.

The team in Urban Gym commissioned us on a video project. They wanted to showcase how the movements and activities that they teach and promote within the gym can directly impact your day to day life. We suggested doing a series of short videos as opposed to one long form video for two reasons. 1) So they would have more content for their social media platforms and 2) To keep singular focus within each of the videos. Below are two videos from the series which contained six videos in total.

Following the ‘Train for life’ video series. The team in Urban Gym commissioned us on another video project. This time to focus on the client journey. One of many things that Urban Gym do well is there customer experience and the attention that they give each client really shows is there retention of like minded members.
